Accomplishments in Office as Norwood Auditor

Providing transparency in Government by creating monthly financial reports for the public available in the Auditors office.

Appointed Auditor staff with financial, accounting, and technology experience.

Prepared and filed financial reports for the years 2006 and 2007.  This is a requirement for the City being released form fiscal watch.

Prepared CAFR for 2008.  The first time this report was produced since 2003.

Presented a proposed balanced 2009 budget to the Finance Committee in November 2008.

Preparing the City of Norwood Five Year Forecast to be continuously updated.

Modernizing the City's financial systems and technologies.

Identifying and correcting inefficiencies.

Worked in conjunction with the Law Office to identify overpayments of property taxes saving the City over $13,000.00 a year.

Working with department heads to develop effective departmental budgets.

Brought the Auditor's office online making the City's information available to it's citizens.
